🎉Publish

This is where you provide all the necessary information for us to help you publish your app on App Store & Google Play.

1. Select app market

App market is where your users can find & download your mobile app. Currently, the most popular app markets for Android & iOS devices are Google Play Store & Apple App Store respectively. You can choose to launch your app on each of these markets, or both based on your store's current needs.

2. App package name (for Android) & Bundle ID (for iOS)

A unique identifier of your app in Android ecosystem & iOS one respectively. We have automatically generated these identifiers for you, but you can freely customize them to your need. Just keep in mind to use a reverse domain name style string (i.e., com.domainname.appname). App package name & bundle ID cannot be changed after the first built.

3. Select publishing account

To publish a mobile app on the app market, a developer account is necessary, which involves an annual fee of $99 for iOS and a one-time fee of $24 for Android.

But even if you don't have one, need not worry! We highly recommend you to publish under SimiCart's developer account, as it is the most convenient and cost-effective option. In case you still prefer to publish under your own account, you can learn how to set up one for iOS or for Android.

If you already have a developer account of your own, that's great! Please invite our emails, which are androidteam@simicart.com (for Android) & help@simicart.com (for iOS), as admin with access to all Additional Resources so we can help you publish your app.

4. Short description (for Google Play Store)

Provide a short description of your app, which is going to be displayed on Google Play Store. Users can then expand it to view your app's full description. This description should not repeat any sentences in the full description. Limited to 80 characters.

5. Description

Provide an engaging description that highlights the features and functionality of your app, since it'll appear on your App Store product page. You can change this description every time you submit a new app version. For further guidance details, please refer to this documentation.

6. Keywords (for App Store)

Choose keywords based on words you think your audience will use to find an app like yours to make sure your app is discoverable on App Store's search results. Limited to 100 characters total, with terms separated by commas and no spaces.

7. Support email & Support phone number

These contact addresses will be displayed in your mobile app's listing page on your chosen app market(s). Your customers can use them to contact you & your store.

8. Privacy policy URL

Provide a link to the webpage that contains your privacy policy. Adding a privacy policy to your app's store listing is required on both Google Play Store & Apple App Store, as it provides transparency about how you treat sensitive user and device data.

9. Request to publish app

When all is done, click on "Request to publish app" to let us know you're ready to publish your app! We'll get back to you within 24 hours with the final version of your app so you can review your app one last time before we submit them to your chosen app market (s).

Addition Info

Once you've submitted your iOS app for review, you can view its status in the My Apps section of App Store Connect or on the App Store Connect App for iPhone and iPad. Review times may vary by app. On average, 50% of apps are reviewed in 24 hours, and over 90% are reviewed in 48 hours.

Google App review process normally takes 3 days. Certain apps may be subject to extended reviews, which may result in review times of up to 7 days or longer in exceptional cases.
